Under Chapter 13 a debtor having a steady income is allowed to keep a property that could be otherwise lost during bankruptcy. A system of paying creditors is created in a way that the debt can be paid over a period of three to five years. In such a case the debtor can take a car loan or a new debt by taking permission from the court trustee. When the permission is granted the person concerned can get in touch with lenders who are willing to provide loans to customers going through bankruptcy.
